Mo is an AI-powered iOS application that helps users save, organize, and act on content including recipes, events, shopping items, places, and other personal information. The App is operated by Lexi Morgan, based in the United States.

We collect the following categories of information:

Account Information

• Email address and password (if you register with email)
• Name and profile information (if you sign in with Apple or Google)
• Authentication tokens

Content You Save

• Screenshots, photos, and images you share to Mo
• URLs and links you share to Mo
• Text content extracted from your saved items via OCR (optical character recognition)
• Notes and edits you make to saved items
• Wishlists, favorites, and organizational data you create

Structured data extracted from URLs you share to Mo, including page content, metadata, and media information, processed to display saved items within the App.

AI-Generated Data

• Titles, summaries, categories, and tags generated by AI analysis of your content
• Extracted structured data such as recipe ingredients, event details, and product information
• Food photo extractions and bounding box data
• Nutrition estimates calculated by AI

Usage Data

• App usage patterns and feature interactions
• Device type, operating system version, and app version
• Crash reports and performance data

Optional Integrations

• If you connect your Instagram account: your Instagram access token and any content you explicitly choose to save from Instagram
• Calendar data accessed only when you choose to add an event (via Apple EventKit — we do not store your calendar data)

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Mo app and its features
• Process and analyze content you save using AI to generate useful structured data
• Enable search, organization, and retrieval of your saved content
• Send you notifications you have opted into (such as event reminders and weekly digests)
• Authenticate your account and maintain security
• Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your saved content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

Mo uses AI to analyze and structure the content you save. This involves sending your content (images, extracted text, and URLs) to third-party AI providers for processing. Currently, we use:

• Anthropic Claude API — for content analysis, categorization, recipe extraction, and other AI features. Content sent to Anthropic is processed in accordance with Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

Content sent to AI providers is used solely to generate structured data for your use within Mo. We take reasonable steps to minimize the data shared and do not share data beyond what is necessary for the analysis.

Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure backend platform. Data is stored on servers in the United States. Supabase employs industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit.

Images and files you save are stored in Supabase Storage with access controls tied to your authenticated account. Only you can access your saved content.

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and saved content within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at techwithlexi@gmail.com or by using the data deletion option within the App settings.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We share data with Supabase (data storage) and Anthropic (AI processing) solely to operate the App. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process.
• Business transfer: If Mo is acquired or merged, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before this occurs.
• With your consent: We may share information in other ways if you give us explicit consent.

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

For all users:

• Right to access the personal data we hold about you

California residents (CCPA/CPRA):

Mo is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided information, we will promptly delete it.

Mo may request access to your device calendar (via Apple EventKit) when you choose to add a saved event to your calendar. We only read and write calendar data at the moment of your explicit action. We do not store your calendar data on our servers.

Mo may send push notifications for event reminders, weekly digests, and item analysis completion. You can control notification preferences in your device Settings at any time.

For users in the EU and UK, our legal basis for processing your personal data is:

• Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide the Mo service you have signed up for
• Legitimate interests: Improving app performance and security
• Consent: For optional features such as Instagram integration and push notifications
• Legal obligation: Where required by applicable law

Mo is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable law.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you within the App and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of Mo after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

We will seek your explicit consent for any changes that materially affect how we process your personal data.
